It’s sometimes difficult to communicate or engage the person afflicted with a condition that affects their memory. This event will offer you excellent information, provide you with proven strategies to communicate with your loved one and support you through learning with others that are dealing with the reality of these conditions within their family.
Our event will be led by Tonya Cox, MSW, CMC, a Master Trainer of the world-renowned Best Friends Approach™ and Director of Home and Community- Based Services for Christian Care Communities. Tonya has 19 years of experience working with persons with dementia and their families. She is a co-author of the Best Friends™ series of books on designing activities for persons with dementia and conducts training sessions throughout the United States and abroad to help others learn and respond to these diseases.

Invitation from Corydon Christian Church
An Amazing Evening
Of Story and Song
March 16 at 7:00 pm. at Corydon Christian Church
216 North Mulberry Street
Phil Gulley, a Quaker pastor and beloved writer and speaker from Danville, Indiana has published 17 books, including the acclaimed Harmony series chronicling life in the eccentric Quaker community of Harmony, Indiana and the best-selling Porch Talk series of inspirational and humor-ous essays. Gulley’s memoir, I Love You, Miss Huddleston: And Other Inappro-priate Longings of My Indiana Childhood, recounts his coming-of-age years.
Phil will be joined by singer Tim Grimm who walks the fine line between folk and country, while maintaining a strong footing in tradi-tion. Tim’s songs are full of the rural rumblings that have shaped his life—rich with descriptive details, and sung with warmth and intimacy—recognizing the inextinguishable national romance with the idea of the family farm and the vanishing landscape of rural America.
Story-teller Phil Gulley and Singer Tim Grimm Come Together With Stories and Songs That Are Sure To Inspire You.
Tickets are $10 if purchased before March 14.
$15 at the door.
This Night will be a Great Event,
